Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (EGTS) #1 for VGT is installed on exhaust manifold and senses the termperature of exhaust gas flowing into the VGT.

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the exhaust gas temperature sensor #1 connector.
Measure resistance between sensor signal terminal and ground terminal.
