Perform the acutation test of the Ignition coil.
If CKPS signal is normal during engine cranking, Ignition coil control circuit should be checked. The purpose of the inspection is to check ignition coil control circuit.
IG "OFF"
Disconnect the connection(with control harness) Connector(CC01).
IG "ON"
Connect the red tongs of the LED circuit tester to battery(+) and probe of LED circuit tester to terminal "2(3,4)" of the connection(with control harness) connector(CC01).
Perform the acutation test of the Ignition coil.
Is the LED circuit tester lit(When Ignition coil is operated by actuation test)?
YES
Faulty ignition coil
NO
Check for open or short to chassis ground between connection(with control harness) connector(CC01) and PCM harness connector.
