Measure voltage between battery (-) terminal and "S" terminal of the starter.

If the battery power is not supplied to terminal "S" of the starter with "start" postion of the ignition key, starter solenoid would not be operated. The purpose of the inspection is to check ST signal harness.
Disconnect ST(Starting) signal harness connector.
IG "START"
Measure voltage between battery (-) terminal and "S" terminal of the starter.
Probe(+) : "S" Terminal of the starter
Probe(-) : Battery (-) terminal
Specification : Approx.B+
Is the measured voltege within Specification?
YES
Faulty solenoid of the starter
NO
Go to "Start relay circuit Inspection" procedure.
