Specification : Vacuum state maintains at operating vacuum gauge.
According to intake/exhaust system inspection engine hesitation is caused by PCSV. The purpose of the inspection is to check PCSV.
IG "OFF"
Disconnect the vacuum hose and install the vacuum gauge.
Operate the vacuum gauge and check leakage of vacuum.
Specification : Vacuum state maintains at operating vacuum gauge.
Does vacuum gauge maintain vacuum value?
YES
Go to "PCSV Simulation test" procedure as below.
NO
Replace the PCSV.
IG "ON"
Connect a scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Perform actuation test using a scanner.
Specification : Vacuum state released by actuation test.
Is vacuum state released by actuation test?
YES
PCSV is OK.
NO
Replace the PCSV.
