Operate the vacuum gauge and check leakage of vacuum.

Specification : Vacuum state maintains at operating vacuum gauge.
When PCSV is opened always, PCM lower short term fuel trim and long term fuel trim by rich HO2 sensor. PCM closes throttle(ETC) by increasing intake air due to PCSV opened always. Finally MAFS decreased by decreasing intake air and engine hesitation could occur.
IG "OFF"
Disconnect the vacuum hose and install the vacuum gauge.
Operate the vacuum gauge and check leakage of vacuum.
Specification : Vacuum state maintains at operating vacuum gauge.
Does vacuum gauge maintain vacuum value?
YES
Go to "PCSV Simulation test" procedure as below.
NO
Replace the PCSV.
IG "ON"
Connect Scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Perform actuation test using a scantool.
Specification : Vacuum state released by actuation test.
Is vacuum state released by actuation test?
YES
PCSV is OK.
NO
Replace the PCSV.
