Check the fuel pressure of the fuel pressure gauge.

Specification : Approx. 375~385 kpa (3.82 ~ 3.92 kg/㎠, 54.3 ~ 55.8 psi ) at idle
(Fuel pressure is kept after stopping of engine.)
If starting is delayed (starting is possible), Check the fuel condition first. If the fuel condition is normal, Fuel pressure should be checked. The purpose of the inspection is to check fuel pressure and remain pressure.
Check the fuel for excessive water,alcohol,or other contaminations.
Install a fuel pressure gauge.
Engine "ON"
Check the fuel pressure of the fuel pressure gauge.
Specification : Approx. 375~385 kpa (3.82 ~ 3.92 kg/㎠, 54.3 ~ 55.8 psi ) at idle
(Fuel pressure is kept after stopping of engine.)
Is the measured fuel pressure within specification?
YES
Go to "Remain Pressure Inspection" procedure as below.
NO
Check blocked fuel filter or fuel leakage
Install a fuel pressure gauge.
After engine starting, stop it at normal fuel pressure condition.
Check decrease in fuel pressure after engine stopping.
Specification : After engine stops, the gage reading should hold for about 5 minutes.
Does the fuel pressure remain after engine stop?
YES
Fuel pressure(Remain pressure) is normal.
NO
Faulty check valve of the fuel pump or fuel leakage
