In case that poor acceleration occurs and excessive exhaust fumes is discharged in the vehicle. If "EGR actuator", "Air mass flow" current data are abnormal and "Boost pressure sensor" current data is not increased normally, Inspect intake system leakage.
IG KEY "ON", ENGINE "ON".
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Allow the engine to warm up to normal operating temperature.
Electrical system and A/CON "OFF".
Select "Air mass flow", "Air mass per cylinder", "EGR actuator", "Boost pressure sensor", "VGT actuator" and "Engine speed sensor" parameters on the scantool.
Monitor parameters as above at idle and stall test.

Monitor current data at idle and stall test : "EGR actuator" is not operated (5.9%)
EGR solenoid valve is operated for approx. 60 seconds after racing the accelerator pedal at warm up idle (Neutral, Load is not applied) and "EGR actuator" duty is to 5.9 % after 60 seconds.
Case 1 : In case of Intake system partial leakage.
In case of intake system partial leakage,
- "Air mass flow (kg/h)" and "Air mass per cylinder (g/st)" current data is increased compared with normal current data.
- "Boost pressure sensor" is increased normally but "VGT actuator (54.5%)" is higher than normal data (45%) at stall test.
Case 2 : In case of Intake system complete leakage. (intake hose is disconnected)
In case of intake system complete leakage,
- "Air mass flow (kg/h)" and "Air mass meter (g/st)" current data is increased a lot compared with normal current data.
- "Boost pressure sensor" is not increased but "VGT actuator (83.1%)" is higher than normal data (45%) at stall test.
Inspect clamp connection between hose and pipe.
Inspect hose and clamp (whether It is disconnected or not.).
In case of rubber intake hose, Inspect in detail as below.
(In case that damage of inner rubber hose covered by woven cloth could not found easily with the naked eye and sound of leakage could not heard easily.)
