Description

Engine hesitation when load isn`t applied is able to be classified "Regular Hesitation" and "Irregular Hesitation" by injector actuation test.

Diagnostic Procedure
1.

Engine "ON"

2.

Connect a scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).

3.

Perform injector actuation test in sequence using a scantool.

A.

There is no power(RPM) change in each cylinder during actuation test,

Go to "Irregular Hesitation Inspection" procedure.

B.

There is power(RPM) change in each cylinder during actuation test,

Go to "Regular Hesitation Inspection" procedure.
