If MIL on the cluster lights faintly, the battery runs out. So, check the load state of the electric parts. And then check if the battery is normal or not by measuring dark current.
IG "OFF"
Remove the ignition key.
Select "A" range in ampere meter.
Disconnect the cable from battery (-) terminal.
Measure current between battery (-) terminal and battery (-) cable.
Probe(+) : Battery (-) cable
Probe(-) : Battery(-) terminal
Specification : Below 50 mA (0.05 A)
Is the measured dark current within Specification?
YES
Faulty battery
NO
Charge the battery
- If the measured value is over threshold[50 mA(0.05 A)], Find out which part has the problem by removing the fuse one by one.
- Find out the cause of the problem seeing ETM.
