If CKPS signal does not input to PCM, PCM doesn’t control ignition and injection. PCM doesn’t control base of the power TR which operates ignition coil and fuel pump, injector. Engine stalling could be caused by poor connection of the CKPS When vehicle is being stopped. The purpose of inspection is to check connection condition of the CKPS connector.

Is CKPS connector pin`s connection condition normal?

YES

Check for harness between CKPS and PCM.

NO

Repair related harness(pin connection) or Replace the harness.
