Set the camshaft sprocket to TDC by aligning the TDC marks on the camshaft sprocket with the pointers on the cylinder head. Dowel must be upper side.
Inaccurate engine timing can cause inaccurate ignition timing. Impossible starting could be caused by inaccurate ignition timing. Therefore engine timing belt should be checked.
Set the TDC mark on the crankshaft pulley with the "T" pointer.

Are TDC marks on the Pointers?
YES
Timing belt is OK.
NO
Repair or Replace the timing belt.
