Disconnect the oil temperature sensor connector and remove the sensor(A) from the valve body.
Remove the battery terminal.
Lift the vehicle.
Remove the splash shield.
Loosen the drain plug and drain the transaxle oil.
Remove the valve body cover.
Disconnect the oil temperature sensor connector and remove the sensor(A) from the valve body.
Install the oil temperature sensor(A) and connect the sensor connector.
When connecting the oil temperature connector, check the connector for rust, dirt, or oil, then reconnect it.
Continue to apply liquid gasket at application points at the valve body cover with Ø0.098in(2.5mm) thickness.
Liquid gasket Part name : Threebond 1281B
Tighten the mounting bolt with the specified torque after installing the valve body cover.
TORQUE:
10~12Nm(1.0~1.2kgf.m, 7~8lb-ft)
Install the drain plug.
TORQUE :
35~45Nm(3.5~4.5kgf.m, 25~32lb-ft)
Installation is the reverse of the removal.
