■ Check 'STOP LAMP SWITCH'
1.

IG key OFF.

2.

Disconnect 'STOP LAMP SWITCH' connector.

3.

Check resistance between 'STOP LP FUSE 15A' terminal and 'Brake main switch signal' terminal. ('STOP LAMP SWITCH' component side)

4.

Check resistance between 'ECU-2 FUSE 10A' terminal and 'Redundant brake switch signal' terminal. ('STOP LAMP SWITCH' component side)

Is the measured value within specification?

▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Unless any problem is detected after checking height of brake pedal, replace brake switch component and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".
