Remove the both front wheels.
Tightening torque
: 110 ~ 140 Nm (11.0 ~ 14.0 kgf.m, 80 ~ 101 lb-ft)
Drain the power steering fluid by disconnecting the return hose (A).
Disconnect the pressure tube (A) from the power steering pump by loosening the eye bolt.
Tightening torque
: 55 ~ 65 Nm (5.5 ~ 6.5 kgf.m, 40 ~ 47 lb-ft)
Disconnect the stabilizer bar link (A) from the front strut assembly.
Tightening torque
: 100 ~ 120Nm (10.0 ~ 12.0kgf.m, 72 ~ 87lb-ft)
Remove the tie-rod end split pin (A) and castle nut (B).
Tightening torque
: 24 ~ 34Nm (2.4 ~ 3.4kgf.m, 17 ~ 25lb-ft)
Disconnect the tie rod end (A) from the knuckle by using a SST (09568-4A000 or 09568-34000).
Remove the bolt pin and nut (A) and disconnect the lower arm (B) from the knuckle.
Tightening torque
: 100 ~ 120Nm (10.0 ~ 12.0kgf.m, 72 ~ 87lb-ft)
Repeat on the other side.
Remove the bolt (A) connecting steering gear pinion shaft to universal joint and the EPS solenoid connector (B).
Tightening torque
: 30 ~ 35Nm (3.0 ~ 3.5kgf.m, 22 ~ 25lb-ft)
Keep the neutral-range to prevent the damage of the clock spring inner cable when you handlethe steering wheel.
Remove the front and rear roll stopper bolts (A, B).
Tightening torque
: 50 ~ 65Nm (5.0 ~ 6.5kgf.m, 36 ~ 47lb-ft)
Remove the muffler hanger (A).
Remove the sub-frame stay mount bolt & sub-frame mount bolt & nut and then make the space between sub-frame and frame.
Tightening torque
Sub-frame stay mounting bolts
: 70 ~ 90Nm (7.0 ~ 9.0kgf.m, 51 ~ 65lb-ft)
Sub-frame mounting nuts
: 70 ~ 90Nm (7.0 ~ 9.0kgf.m, 51 ~ 65lb-ft)
Sub-frame mounting bolts
: 140 ~ 160Nm (14.0 ~ 16.0kgf,m, 101 ~ 116lb-ft)
Remove the heat protector (A).
Tightening torque
: 4 ~ 6Nm (0.4 ~ 0.6kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3lb-ft)
Disconnect the pressure tube (A) and return (B) from the valve body housing.
Tightening torque
: 12 ~ 18Nm (1.2 ~ 1.8kgf.m, 9 ~ 13lb-ft)
Remove the tube bracket bolts and nut.
Remove the steering gear box mount bolt and then pull the steering gear box to the left side.
Tightening torque
: 90 ~ 110Nm (9.0 ~ 11.0kgf.m, 65 ~ 72lb-ft)
