Component Inspection

■ Check fuel pump relay coil resistance

IG key OFF.

Disconnect 'FUEL PUMP RELAY'.

Check resistance between 'SNSR 4 FUSE 15A' (85) terminal and 'Fuel pump relay control (86)' terminal of 'FUEL PUMP RELAY' harness connector. (Measurement 1)

Specification : 75 ~ 85 Ω (20℃)

Supplies random 12V power to 'SNSR 4 FUSE 15A' (85) terminal and ground to 'Fuel pump relay control' (86) terminal ('FUEL PUMP RELAY' component side).

Check resistance between 'F/PUMP FUSE 15A' (30) terminal and 'FUEL PUMP MOTOR' (87) terminal of 'FUEL PUMP RELAY' component side. (Measurement 2)

Specification : When power is supplied : Continuity (Below 1.0Ω)

When power is not supplied : Infinite (∞ Ω)

Is the measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Component Inspection" procedure.
	▶ Replaces FUEL PUMP RELAY, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

☞ Repeat this process 2~3 times.
