Electrical systems consist of a lot of harness and connectors, poor connection of terminals can cause various problems and damage of component.

2.

Perform checking procedure as follows.

(1)

Check damage of harness and terminals : Check terminals for contact resistance, corrosion and deformation.

(2)

Check connecting condition of ECM and component connector : Check terminal separation, damage of locking device and connecting condition between terminal and wiring.

Disconnect the pin which requires checking at male connector and insert it to the terminal at female connector for checking connecting condition.(After checking, reconnect the pin at correct position.)

Has a problem been found?

	▶ Repair the trouble causing part and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Control Circuit Inspection".

IG key OFF.

2.

Disconnect ACV and ECM connector.

3.

Check resistance between 'Motor (+)' terminal of ACV harness connector and chassis ground.

4.

Check resistance between 'Motor (-)' terminal of ACVA harness connector and chassis ground.

Specification : Infinite (∞ Ω)

Is the measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Check open circuit" as follows.
	▶ Repair short to ground between motor terminal of ECM and ACV harness, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

IG key OFF.

7.

Disconnect ACV and ECM connector.

8.

Check resistance between 'Motor (+)' terminal of ACV harness connector and chassis ground.

9.

Check resistance between 'Motor (-)' terminal of ACV harness connector and chassis ground.

Is the measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Component inspection" as follows.
	▶ Repair open between Motor terminal of ACV and ECM harness connector, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
