Component Inspection

■ BPS visual inspection

IG key OFF.

Disconnect BPS connector.

Check for corrosion / water intrusion in BPS connector / terminal.

Check for sensor / connector physical damage.

Are the problems relevant to BPS found?

	▶ Replace BPS if necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".
	▶ Go to "BPS waveform inspection" as below.

IG key OFF.

Connect BPS connector.

Connect an oscilloscope probe to 'Signal' terminal of 'BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR' connector.

Engine ON.

Monitor the signal waveform at idle and during acceleration.

Is the signal waveform normal?

	▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Replace BPS, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
