■ Check Voltage in Control Circuit
1.

IG key OFF.

2.

Disconnect VGT actuator connector.

3.

Check resistance between CAN High and Low terminal of 'ELECTRICAL VGT ACTUATOR'.

Specification : 2.4 kΩ

Is the measured value within specification?

▶ Go to "Control signal waveform inspection" procedure.

▶ Repair 'ELECTRICAL VGT ACTUATOR' , and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

IG key ON and warm engine up its temperature to be higher than 70℃.

6.

Place oschilloscope probe at CAN High and Low terminal of VGT actuator.

7.

Check output signal of CAN communication.

Is the measured value within specification?

▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Repair 'ELECTRICAL VGT ACTUATOR' , and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
