Remove the under cover (A).
Loosen the drain plug (A), and drain the coolant.
Remove the radiator cap (A) to speed draining.
Remove the air duct (A).
Disconnect the terminals (A) from the battery and remove the battery (B).
Tightening torque :
9.8 ~ 11.8N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7lb-ft)
Remove the battery tray (A).
Tightening torque :
9.8 ~ 11.8N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7lb-ft)
Remove the front bumper. (Refer to BD group)
Remove the upper cover (A).
Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A) and lower hose (B).
Remove the ATF cooler hose. (Refer to AT group)
Disconnect the fan motor connector (A).
Disconnect the hose (A) between the reservoir tank and radiator cap.
Remove the A/C pipe bracket (A).
Remove the air guard (A) and then remove the A/C condenser (B) from the radiator assembly.
Remove the radiator upper mounting bracket (A) and then lift up the radiator.
Tightening torque :
8.8 ~ 10.8N.m (0.9 ~ 1.1kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 8.0lb-ft)
Remove the upper cover and then remove the cooling fan (A) from the radiator (B).
Tightening torque :
8.8 ~ 10.8N.m (0.9 ~ 1.1kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 8.0lb-ft)
Installation is reverse order of removal.
Bleed air from the cooling system
Start engine and let it run until it warms up. (until the radiator fan operates 3 or 4 times.)
Turn Off engine. Check the coolant level and add coolant if needed. This will allow trapped air to be removed from the cooling system.
Put the radiator cap on tightly, then run engine again and check for leaks.
