Connect scan tool with 'DATA LINK CONNECTOR' (DLC).

2.

Warm engine up to normal operating temperature.

3.

Turn all the electrical devices including air conditioner OFF.

4.

Monitor "ACCEL PEDAL SENSOR 1" and "ACCEL PEDAL SENSOR 2" parameter on the scan tool.

Specification :

ACCEL PEDAL SENSOR 1 : 600mV~830mV at idle ( 0.0% )

3420mV~4840mV at full load (100%)

ACCEL PEDAL SENSOR 2 : Half of "ACCEL PEDAL SENSOR 1" data.

Fig.1) APS output data at warm idle.

☞ Check if output value is rising and "ACCEL PEDAL SENSOR 2" is 1/2 of "ACCEL PEDAL SENSOR 1" signal.
