Remove the sub fuel sender service cover (A).
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Remove the 2nd seat (Refer to "SEAT" in BD group).
Open the carpet for the fuel pump.
Remove the sub fuel sender service cover (A).
Disconnect the sub fuel sender connector (A) and the suction tube quick-connector (B).
Remove the sub fuel sender (C) after removing the plate cover (B) with SST (A) [SST No.: 09310-3P100] from the fuel tank.
Installation is reverse of removal.
Sub fuel sender plate cover installation:
58.9 ~ 68.7 N.m (6.0 ~ 7.0 kgf.m, 43.4 ~ 50.6 lb-ft)
Check the groove when installing the sub fuel sender.
