Component Inspection

■ Check ENGINE CONTROL RELAY coil resistance

IG key OFF.

Disconnect 'ENGINE CONTROL RELAY'.

Check resistance between 'ECU FUSIBLE LINK 30A' (85) terminal and 'Engine control relay control' (86) terminal of 'A/C RELAY' harness connector. (Measurement 1)

Specification : 55 ~ 65 Ω (20℃)

Supplies random 12V power to 'ECU FUSIBLE LINK 30A' (85) terminal and ground to 'Engine control relay control' (86) terminal ('ENGINE CONTROL RELAY' component side).

Check resistance between 'ECU FUSIBLE LINK 30A' (30) terminal and 'Engine control relay 'ON' (87) terminal of 'ENGINE CONTROL RELAY' component side. (Measurement 2)

Specification :

When power is supplied : Continuity (Below 1.0Ω)

When power is not supplied : Infinite (∞ Ω)

Is the measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Component Inspection" procedure.
	▶ Replaces ENGINE CONTROL RELAY, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

☞ Repeat this process 2~3 times.
