Connect scantool with diagnostic connector.

Check that there is DTC on the ENGINE side.

Check ENGINE first if there is any DTC on the ENGINE side and confirm that it is erasable.

If no DTC, Select "Engine RPM" parameter on the Current data with scantool.

Check Engine RPM is changeable together with Engine RPM changes.

■ Check Engine RPM is changeable together with Engine RPM changes.

Is the Engine RPM normal ?

	▶ Go to Next procedure.
	▶ Check Engine RPM, circuit, or related component. Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
