Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

Using a GDS, Clear DTC.

IG "OFF".

Disconnect ECU's connector which is connected to CAN Bus.

IG "ON".

Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

Are any DTCs present?

▶ Go to step 1 of the component inspection and disconnect another ECU's connector which is connected to CAN Bus in step 5.

▶ Repeat above step until test completed on all ECU in CAN bus.

▶ If DTC is present after above test, substitute with a known-good PCM(TCM) and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace PCM(TCM) and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by faulty HECU or PCM(TCM). Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
