Check that the value of auto defoger mode actuator is changed with performing actuation test.
Specification : Close : About 90%, Open : About 30%.
Vehicle Parked & Ignition ON.
Connect Scantool and select "Data Analysis" mode.
Select "Auto Defog Direction Potentiometer" parameter on the "Current Data" with scantool.
Perform "Actuation Test" for "Def Door -close/open" in order.
Check that the value of auto defoger mode actuator is changed with performing actuation test.
Specification : Close : About 90%, Open : About 30%.
Does the value of auto defoger mode actuator follow the specification ?
 | ▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or Control module’s connector or was repaired and Control module’s memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. ▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
