Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor connection. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.

Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration,or damage.

Has a problem been found?

	▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Power Circuit Inspection" Procedure.

Ignition "OFF"

Disconnect the Driver Side Door Handle Antenna and SMK ECU connector.

Measure the resistance between the Driver Side Door Handle Antenna and the body ground.

Measure the resistance between the Driver Side Door Handle Antenna and SMK ECU Power circuit.

Is the measured value within specifications?

	▶ Go to "Ground Circuit Inspection" Procedure.
	▶ Check the open or short of the Power cirucit. And then go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.

Ignition "OFF"

Disconnect the Driver Side Door Handle Antenna connector.

Measure the resistance between the ground circuit of the Driver Side Door Handle Antenna and the body ground.

Is the measured value within specifications?

	▶ Substitute with a known-good Sampe of Driver Side Door Handle Antenna and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace Driver Side Door Handle Antenna and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Check the open of the ground cirucit. And then go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
