Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

Confirm that "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in the freeze frame data or enable conditions.

Read "DTC Status" parameter in DTC menu of the GDS.

Is parameter displayed "History(Not Present) fault"?

	▶ Fault is caused by having been repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Clear the DTC and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to next step.

IG "ON".

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

Turn the steering wheel to the left and right.

Monitor the "Steering Angle Sensor(CAN)(ESP Only)" parameter on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS.

When steering wheel is turned, is the parameter changed?

1) Set the steering wheel so that the wheels point straight ahead. 2) Keep the steering wheel in center position. 3) Monitor the "Steering Angle Sensor(CAN)(ESP Only)" parameter on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS.

4) Is parameter displayed within specification? ▶ Go to "Terminal and Connector inspection" procedure. ▶ This DTC may be caused by an incorrect calibration of the steering angle sensor. Perform the calibration of the sensor in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu on GDS again.
