Component Inspection
1.

Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

2.

IG "ON".

3.

Using a GDS, Clear DTC.

4.

IG "OFF".

5.

Disconnect ECU's connector which is connected to CAN Bus.

6.

IG "ON".

7.

Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

8.

Are any DTCs present?

▶ Go to step 1 of the component inspection and disconnect another ECU's connector which is connected to CAN Bus in step 5.

▶ Repeat above step until test completed on all ECU in CAN bus.

▶ If DTC is present after above test, Substitute with a known-good SRSCM and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace SRSCM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

※ In a case of replacing the SRSCM, follow the replacement procedure of the DTC B1620(Internal fault-Replace SRSCM) of the SRSCM, and then perform "Longitudinal G sensor Calibration" in “Vehicle S/W Management” menu of the GDS. (DBC/HAC only, refer to C128504)

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in IMU(SRSCM) harness or faulty IMU(SRSCM). Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure
