Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.
IG "ON".
Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
IG "OFF".
Disconnect ECU's connector which is connected to CAN Bus.
IG "ON".
Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.
Are any DTCs present?
![]() | ▶ Go to step 1 of the component inspection and disconnect another ECU's connector which is connected to CAN Bus in step 5. ▶ Repeat above step until test completed on all ECU in CAN bus. ▶ If DTC is present after above test, Substitute with a known-good SRSCM and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace SRSCM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. note ※ In a case of replacing the SRSCM, follow the replacement procedure of the DTC B1620(Internal fault-Replace SRSCM) of the SRSCM, and then perform "Longitudinal G sensor Calibration" in “Vehicle S/W Management” menu of the GDS.
