DTC Description

A failure is detected if the IMU message was not received or the HECU detects the sensor CAN Bus off state in CAN bus which is used for communication with IMU for more than the specified failure detection time.

Fail Safe

4WD: Inhibit the ABS/ESP(ESC)/DBC/AVH control and allow the EBD control.

2WD: Inhibit the ESP(ESC)/DBC/AVH control.

MIL

4WD: The ABS/ESP(ESC)/DBC/AVH warning lamp is activated.

2WD: the ESP(ESC)/DBC warning lamp is activated.

Case 2

CAN message (Longitudinal G sensor) monitoring

Monitoring Period

The monitoring starts 1.5sec after power up

Enable Conditions

In case that sensor message was not received for more than 1sec after receiving sensor reset bit more than 3 times.

Fail Safe

4WD: Inhibit the ABS/ESP(ESC)/DBC/AVH control and allow the EBD control.

2WD: Inhibit the DBC control.

MIL

4WD: The ABS/ESP(ESC)/DBC/AVH warning lamp is activated.

2WD: the ESP(ESC) warning lamp is activated. (In case DBC w/lamp exists, the DBC warning lamp is activated)

Reset Condition

Normal after IG turned on again
