Disconnect the neutral swtich connector (A).
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")
Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")
Remove the ECM.
(Refer to Engine Control System - "ECM")
Disconnect the neutral swtich connector (A).
Check the continuity between no. 1 and 2 terminals of neutral position switch.
When the shift lever is in neutral, there should be contunuity.
If necessary, repair or replace the neutral position switch.
Remove the air cleaner assembly.

Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")
Remove the ECM.
(Refer to Engine Control System - "ECM")
Disconnect the neutral swtich connector (A).
Remove the neutral switch (A).
Replace a new one and install the neutral position switch, then connect the connector.
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 58.8 N.m (4.0 ~ 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 43.4 lb-ft)
