Operation
The Side Impact sensor (SIS) assy circuit includes a diagnosis circuit and a lateral deceleration sensor. It recieves signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, detects and diagnosis system malfunctions, and judges whether or not the SRS must be activated. .
DTC B1401 is recorded when occurrence of a malfunction in the Side Impact sensor assy (Left side)is detected.
