Operation
The Side Impact sensor (SIS) assy circuit includes a diagnosis circuit and a lateral deceleration sensor. It recieves signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, detects and diagnosis system malfunctions, and judges whether or not the SRS must be activated.
DTCs B1404 are recorded when a malfunction in the Side Impact Sensor assembly (right side) is detected.
