Measure resistance between the terminals 1 and 2.
Resistance : 0.77 ~ 0.95 kΩ (20°C)
Piston position on combustion chamber is the substantial to define the starting of injection timing. All engine pistons are connected to crankshaft by connecting rod. Sensor on crankshaft can supply the informations concerning all piston positions, revolution speed is defined by revolution per minute of crankshaft. The signal induced from crankshaft position sensor is sent to ECM.
Remove CKP sensor.
Measure resistance between the terminals 1 and 2.
Resistance : 0.77 ~ 0.95 kΩ (20°C)
Measure the gap between CKP sensor and sensor wheel.
Gap : 0.5 ~ 1.5 mm
Install CKP sensor.
Tightening torque: 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m (2.9 ~ 4.35 Ib·ft)
