Before disconnecting fuel hose, spread out service towel under the fuel filter not to contaminated by fuel.
Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
Disconnect the negative battery (-) terminal and wait for about 30 seconds.
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
Before disconnecting fuel hose, spread out service towel under the fuel filter not to contaminated by fuel.
Disconnect the heater connector, water sensor connector and thermo switch connector.
Unfasten fuel filter bracket mounting nut(1EA) and bolts(2EA) and remove the fuel filter assembly.
Unfasten mounting nut (2EA) and bolts(3EA) on fuel filter head and bolt(1EA) in fuel filter bracket.
General inspection
Hose and pipe for bent, damage, clogging or corrosion.
Fuel filter for cologging and damage.
The fuel filter inspection must be complete in case of below.
Draining fuel in fuel tank and then refilling fuel.
Replacing the fuel filter.
Removing the main fuel hose(pipe).
