Check if starter works.
If start relay doen`t work with the START positon of the ignition key, Starter would not operated. The purpose of the inspection is to check the start relay.
Disconnect start relay from E/R fuse & relay box.
Connect jump wire with terminal "1" and "5" of the start relay.(E/R fuse & relay box side)
Check if starter works.
Does starter work properly?
YES
Go to "Control circuit of the start relay Inspection" procedure as below.
NO
Check open circuit in harness between terminal "1" of the start relay and "S" terminal of the starter.
IG "OFF"
Disconnect cruise control module.
IG "START"
Measure voltage between terminal "2" of start relay (Fuse & relay box side) and chassis ground.
Probe(+) : terminal "2" of the start relay (Fuse & relay box side)
Probe(-) : chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. B+
Is the voltage within Specification?
YES
Faulty start relay or open circuit in harness between terminal "4" of the start relay and chassis ground
NO
Go to "Burglar alarm relay circuit Inspection" procedure.
