The purpose of the Inspection is to check TPS and TPS adjustment by using scanner(TPS output voltage at current data). When throttle valve is entirely closed, If TPS output voltage is below the specified value, poor power/acceleration could occur.

Connect a scanner to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Check current data.
Specification :
Approx. 0.2~0.8V(0~0.5˚) at Throttle closed
Approx. 4.3~4.8V(86˚) at W.O.T
This current data is nothing but an example at certain condition. Thus, the real current data and waveform could different from this example.
Is TPS current data normal?
YES
TPS is OK.
NO
Check the related harness or replace the TPS.
