Remove the console assembly.

Remove the cotter pins and clips (shift lever side).

Remove the shift lever assembly.

Remove the retainer and bolts.

Remove the cotter pins and clips (Transaxle side).

Remove the shift cable and select cable.

Install the shift lever assembly.

Install the shift lever and select cable.

Check the select cable for proper operation and for damage.

Check the shift cable for porper operation and for damage.

Check the boot for damage.

Check each busing for wear, abrasion, sticking, restricted movement or damage.

Check for a week or damaged return sping.
