If engine stalls when vehicle is being stopped, Check "ISCA, CKP & CMP, PCSV, VSS, Timing, Ignition system, fuel system, TCC(Torque Converter Clutch:auto T/A)"
Start the engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature.
Connect a scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC) and select current data function.
Fix items of "ISCA, Engine speed, PCSV, H2O sensor, vehicle speed"
Driving the vehicle on the lifter and record items selected.
If the engine stalls when vehicle is driven, check data recorded.
In case of fuel system, check the graph function when the engine stall as fig2.(Check the graph after fixing H2O sensor, Mass Air Flow sensor in the current data.)
If the engine stalls when vehicle is being stopped, check the cause of engine stalling after analyzing current data.
The cause of engine stalling are as below
"ISCA, CKP & CMP, PCSV, VSS, Timing belt, Ignition system, fuel system, TCC(Torque Converter Clutch:auto T/A)"
When H2O sensor is lean and Mass Air Flow sensor is higher than specification as fig2,
Go to "Fuel system Inspection" procedure.
