When prying with a screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
Take care not to scratch the crash pad and related parts.
Tilt the steering column down.
Remove the screws, and detach the clips.
After disconnecting the trip sensor connector (A), remove the cluster facia panel (B).
Installation is the reverse or removal.
Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
Replace any damage clips.
Remove the front console cover (See page BD- 59).
Remove the screw, and detach the clips.
Disconnect the following items to remove the center facia panel (A).
Hazard warning lamp connector (B).
Rear defroster connector (C).
Windshield deicer conector (D).
Front fog lamp connector (E).
Installation is the reverse of removal.

Disconnect the hood release cable from the hood release handle (See page BD- 10).
Remove the screws, bolts and clips.
Disconnect the self-diagnosis connector (A), then remove the lower crash pad panel (B).

Loosen the screws.
Remove the heater control unit (A).

Disconnect the audio connector (A) and antena cable (B), then remove the audio assembly (C).

Disconnect the air damper wire (A) and guide (B) from the glove box (C).
Disconnect the pin (A), then remove the glove box (C).

Disconnect the cluster connector (A), then remove the cluster (B).

Remove the air vent (A) by detaching the clips.
Reinstall the hook portions of the vent first, then push the clip portions into place securely.

Remove the crash pad side cover (A), crash pad center under cover (B).

Disconnect the passenger's air bag connector (A). Loosen the bolts and nut, then remove the crash pad (B).
Carefully remove the crash pad through the front door opening.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Make sure the crash pad fits onto the guide pins correctly.
Before tightening the bolts, make sure the crash pad wire harnesses are not pinched.
Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly, and the antenna lead is connected properly.
Enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.
