The purpose of the Inspection is to analyze the cause of poor power/acceleration through ignition coil inspection.
IG "OFF"
Measure primary resistance after removing ignition coil connectors. (Primary resistance is measured between (+) terminals and (-) terminals.)
Measure secondary resistance after removing spark plug cables. (Secondary resistance is measured between center terminals and center terminals.)
Specification of Ignition Coil Resistance
Primary Coil : 0.96Ω ± 10% , Secondary Coil : 12.5㏀ ± 15%
Are the primary and secondary resistance of the ignition coil normal?
YES
Ignition coil is OK.
NO
Replace the ignition coil.
