Measure voltage between the ST signal harness connector and (-) terminal of the battery.

If the battery power is not supplied to terminal "S" of the starter with START positon of the ignition key, solenoid would not operated. The purpose of the inspection is to check the ST signal herness.
Disconnect ST(Starting) signal harness connector.
IG "START"
Measure voltage between the ST signal harness connector and (-) terminal of the battery.
Probe(+) : the ST signal harness connector
Probe(-) : Battery (-) terminal
Specification : Approx.B+
Is the voltage within Specification?
YES
Faulty solenoid of the starter
NO
Go to "Start relay Inspection" procedure.
