The purpose of the Inspection is to analyze the cause of engine hesitation. By checking ISCA current data measured at various loading condition.
Engine "ON" and warm up the engine untill cooling fan is operated.
Connect a scanner to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Check current data.

Is current data normal?
YES
ISCA is OK.
NO
Go to "ISCA visual Inspection" procedure as below.
IG "OFF"
Remove the ISCA.
Check If the ISCA is blocked with foreign substance or carbon.
Is the ISCA normal?
YES
Go to "ISCA simulation test" procedure.
NO
Replace the ISCA.
IG "ON"
Remove the ISCA.
Connect a scanner to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Perform actuation test using a scanner.
Is the ISCA operated (opened ↔ closed repeatedly) normally?
YES
Perform basic inspection and if any problem is not detected, go to system inspection procedure.
NO
Replace the ISCA.
