Diagnostic Procedure
Power circuit of the fuel pump Inspection
1.

Disconnect Fuel Pump Relay.

2.

IG "ON"

3.

Measure voltage between "5" terminal of the fuel pump relay harness connector(E/R fuse & relay box side) and chassis ground.

caution

Probe(+) : "5" terminal of the fuel pump relay(E/R fuse & relay box)

Probe(-) : chassis ground

A.

Specification : approximately B+

4.

Is the voltage within Specification?

YES

Go to "Control circuit Inspection" procedure.

NO

Repair open or short circuit to chassis ground between Fuel Pump relay harness connector and control relay.(Refer to full circuit)
