Set the camshaft sprocket to TDC by aligning the TDC marks on the camshaft sprocket with the pointers on the cylinder head. Dowel must be upper side.
Engine hesitation, poor acceleration, excessive fuel consumption and Engine stalling could be caused by inaccurate engine timing. This purpose of inspection is to check engine timing.
Set the TDC mark on the crankshaft pulley with the "T" pointer.
Set the camshaft sprocket to TDC by aligning the TDC marks on the camshaft sprocket with the pointers on the cylinder head. Dowel must be upper side.
Are TDC marks on the Pointers?
YES
Timing is OK.
NO
Repair or Replace the timing belt.
