Operate vacuum gauge and check leakage of vacuum.

Specification : Vacuum state maintains at operating vacuum gauge.
When PCSV is opened always, ECM lower short term fuel trim and long term fuel trim by rich H2O sensor. ECM closes ISCA by increaing intake air due to PCSV opened always. Finally MAF decreased by decreasing intake air and engine hesitation could occur.
IG "OFF"
Disconnect vacuum hose and install vacuum gauge.
Operate vacuum gauge and check leakage of vacuum.
Specification : Vacuum state maintains at operating vacuum gauge.
Does vacuum gauge maintain vacuum value?
YES
Go to "PCSV Simulation test" procedure as below.
NO
Replace the PCSV.
IG "ON"
Connect Scanner to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Perform actuation test using a scanner.
Specification : Vacuum state released by actuation test.
Is vacuum state released by actuation test?
YES
PCSV is OK.
NO
Replace the PCSV.
