General Description

*PAS is the system that detects obstacles in front, rear, and blind spot of vehicle with ultrasonic sensor and warns driver during parking or low speed driving condition.

There are 4 front and 4 rear parking assist sensors. "FRONT PARKING ASSIST SENSOR RH (IN)"detects obstacles in the front left side and sends first, second, third phase warning signals that differ by distance of obstacles to *BCM via LIN communication.

BCM monitors signals from "FRONT PARKING ASSIST SENSOR RH (IN)" and determines warning phase and activates buzzer or sends data to cluster to display to warn driver. Warning methods are different by vehicle options.
