Component Inspection

Ignition "OFF".

Disconnect oil control valve connector.

Measure resistance between power terminal and control terminal of the solenoid connector(Component side).

Specification :

Oil Control Valve	Normal Parameter At 20℃ (68℉)
Insulation Resistance	9.9±0.5Ω

Is resistance within specification?

	▶ Go to next step as below.
	▶ Check oil control valve for contamination, deterioration, or damage. Substitute with a known-good solenoid and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace solenoid and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
