Monitoring DTC Status
1.

Vehicle Parked & Ignition ON.

2.

Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.

3.

Click "DTC Status" on the "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" menu bar to see DTC's information.

4.

Confirm that "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in the freeze frame data or enable conditions.

5.

Read "DTC Status" parameter.

6.

Is parameter displayed "Present fault"?

▶ Check DTCs related with CAN or signal of vehicle speed in the other system, such as Engine or ESC(ESP). If there are the DTCs, repair them and then confirm deletion.

▶ Recheck TPMS system, if C1611 is still active DTC, Go to Next procedure.

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or Control module’s connector or was repaired and Control module’s memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
