Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Remove the air duct (A).
Disconnect the breather hose (B), air intake hose (C) and then remove the air cleaner assembly (D).
Tightening torque
Hose clamp bolt :
2.9 ~ 4.9 N.m (0.3 ~ 0.5 kgf.m, 2.2 ~ 3.6 lb-ft)
Air cleaner assembly bolts :
3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)
Install the air intake hose while the center of the mark of hose must be in line with the throttle body rib.
Remove the filler neck bolts (A).
Tightening torque:
6.9 ~ 10.8 N.m (0.7 ~ 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 ~ 8.0 lb-ft)
Remove the engine wire harness connectors and wire harness clamps from cylinder head and the intake manifold.
Disconnect the intake oil control valve (OCV) connector (A) and alternator connector (B).
Disconnect the air conditioning compressor connector (C).
Remove the wiring harness protector mounting bolts (D).
Disconnect the MAP sensor connector (F) and the knock sensor connector (E).
Disconnect the electronic throttle control (ETC) connector (A).
Disconnect the vacuum hose (B), PCV hose (C) and the throttle body coolant hoses (D).
Remove the intake manifold assembly (A).
Tightening torque :
18.6 ~ 23.5 N.m (1.9 ~ 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 ~ 17.4 lb-ft)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
