The EPS CM (MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering) gets signals such as engine RPM and vehicle speed from engine ECM through CAN communication line. And it operates it's MDPS system.
The EPS CM (MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering) sets this DTC if it hasn't gotten any vehicle speed signals from engine ECM.
